This is one of the best breathing techniques I’ve ever used, it works with any type of cardio, continue singing the alphabet until your breathing is back under control! :)

My friend and I were just chatting on Facebook chat. I realised I was hungry so I said ‘hey I’m just going to go get a piece of fruit’ to which she responded ‘health freak!’. Which is such a destructive way of looking at a healthy lifestyle.
So this post is for you, my beautiful people. For all of you who have been questioned about your sanity when you work out to create a stronger body. For all of you who have been mocked for choosing the healthy option over the convenient, deep fried, fattening or sugar ladened option. For all of you who have stayed strong. For all of you who have pushed yourself to your limits and then beyond. For all of you who have slipped up and gotten back on track. For those of you who are trying day in and day out to live a wonderful and healthy lifestyle.
Because you know what? You only get one shot at life. So why the hell would you be content with just being an average version of yourself? All those people who try to bring you down are just imposing their own insecurities onto you. Deep down they know what you’re doing is correct, but they’re too comfortable in their own bad habits to try to change, and they get jealous because of that.
So never let all the haters get you down. Because you are creating the best version of you. And I am so proud of you for doing that.
Strength and love,
Mel xx
